Here are a couple pics. They're pretty blurry, but it's not my fault as I wasn't operating the camera.

well...I like the Samsung a lot, but it has one cardinal sin in my book: the use of proprietary connectors. It is just massively convenient to be able to use standard USB for all my travel gadgets....phones, gps. bt. I don't understand why they would continue to insist on their proprietary crap.

Good point. Along with that, the stock sync cable that comes with the i760 supposedly doesn't charge the phone while connected. I'll confirm that when I get mine.

Verizonguy...do you know if the 6800 comes with Picsel browser also? Anyway...Thanx verizonguy for the info!
Only the Samsung with have Picsel out of the box, the XV6800 will not...

Hey Verizonguy,

Does internet sharing come with the i760. Does it work without the tethering plan?

Thank you,
Nite Rider

As you can see, it doesn't appear to, but it will after I get through with it

Are you f-ing kidding me?
You guys mean that you can't just keep a USB cable handy to sync or at least charge the i760???????
That's a pretty big deal. Then you say the cable they DO provide doesn't even charge once synced....This must be confirmed.
Considering that there are phones out with HALF of the power of the i760 yet have the usb/charge ability (Wing for example), why the heck wouldn't Samsung use that?
I really wanted this phone, but that's a deal breaker for me.
For several hundred dollars, I'm not taking a step backwards in functionality.
6800 it is.

VerizonGuy, did you notice if the vzw 6800 had the HTC option on the
today screen or just the wm6 ms screen ? I use the HTC today screen
on my wm6 (Helmi) 6700 and really like it.

this doesn't surprise me at all. when i went from a samsung a900 to the 610, samsung changed charging ports and in turn the tethering cable did not charge my 610. there was a big hupla over on the sprintusers samsung board about it at the time. i love my samaung and if this phone ever came to sprint i would probably get it, but as you can see there not a perfect phone manufacturer
