For what it's worth I talked to the manager of a Verizon store in Michigan and she told me that the XV6800 was scheduled to go on sale in the store on November 21st.

Who cares anymore...if it's released then it'll released. Beside, I like Vogue better now then 6800 .

I don't, just wouldn't be surprised as they have already pushed it out several times.

If you were Verizon and seeing all the issues that Sprint is having with the Mogul, how confident would you be releasing it at this time? I thought so.

They can release it whenever it turns them on , I don't care. Iv'e got a
like new 6700 WM6 (Helmi) that works just fine. If they don't release the
6800 by years end I'll just get the Vouge.

The Vogue isn't really a comparable device, unless you are satisfied with dumping the outer keyboard. The i760 is a closer match, but why settle for ANYTHING with less features than the 6800? Every time I think to stray away from the XV6#00 path, I only get frustrated when I find it's missing something that the good ol' 6700 had. Even something as minor as a missing IR port or no Flash-LED is something I notice.

The only thing I wouldn't have would be the keyboard and I would gain
more memory and wi-fi that works. It has WM6 professional so I would have
all the windows apps. Plus there alot of good onscreen keyboard software
out there. I don't see a problem.

There was a post on Howards Forum this morning by a VzW employee
saying that they can order the phone now (6800) and it wiil be out
to the public very soon. Maybe online next week.
If the employees are ordering the phone now that means all the testing
must be over and that's good news.
