Now they say the 19th of November. I'm not going to hold my breath. Some time before 2008 sounds more realistic to me, personally. I think they were holding out for black Friday, since they were so close anyways. But for that they'd have to have it in stores on black Friday, or at least able to order from the store. I'm not impressed with Verizon thus far. I am liking my 6700 more and more, now that it's running wm6. It's solid, bug-less, I'll wait 6 months, find a factory refurbish 6800 on eBay for $200 like i did my 6700, and pick that up to toy with.
I'm also thinking maybe they wanted to sell off the remaining stock of 6700's before they released the 6800's. In doing so, they're giving us time to perfect wm6 on the 6700, which will significantly decrease the sales of the 6800. Over-all, now that I'm happy with my wm6, the 6800 doesn't have any features that my 6700 doesn't, and certainly isn't worth the tag they're putting on it to me.
I was smoking on the dock the other day, and a bunch of exec's came out of a meeting to use their phone. 4 out or 5 had 6700's in their hands checking schedules and email and meeting times. So long as verizon has a strangle-hold on the business end of things, they'll remain doing healthy business from us.

I agree. I have a good WM 6 6700 and I won't pay $500 for the 6800.
They will have to have a great Christmas bonus on the phone to sell
a lot of them since the economy is getting so bad these days.
I can certainly wait until they drop the price. If they don't drop the price,
I'll just wait on the Vogue to come out.
