for anyone else reading this, this app covers alot of the registry related tweaks that are out there right now for our phones. Some things related to Sense, but alot of reg tweaks for WM in general.

May I politely ask exactly what tweaks are included in this before I decide to install it on my phone.

Installing this on your device does not change anything, it is just a program that allows the user to visually select or deselect changes to their phone. It is almost the same as advanced configuration 3.3, but with a couple more things to tweak.

As far as updating the first post with tweaks, I will more than likely not do that. I am keeping that simple and clean with just the required cabs for the install of the Sense. I don't want to clutter it with the various changes that some users will use and some will not. In hindsight, I should have reserved the second and third post for these kinds of things.

it doesnt install the tweaks its like advance configuration but for windows and manila u toggle through it and set what ever you want like dialer sense scrolling sms sent notifications tf3d soft keys four colums programs ect ect ect

please note if you already installed tweaks and then install this program your tweaks then become default

heads up.. this thing BREAKS all of the cabs that you install in the first post. After installing and LOOKING at the options, my SMS is now completely hosed. Do yourself a favor and dont mess with this tool

can someone help me out and point me in the direction of all of the SMS "Sent Successfully" notification registry values? Apparently that HDTweak app f'd up something royally, now every sms i send, manila restarts... talk about frustrating


here is the answer to this. you DO NOT need to install the noSMSnotification cab, just change this registry value

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMs

This is the correct key, you need to change it to a '2' and not a '1' or '0' to get rid of the popup notification. After changing it, soft reset and it should go away. I've attached a cab that will make the change for you as well, you'll still need to soft reset to see the effects.

That is actually meant for appearance tweaks. As far as performance, I only install the cabs on the first post and speedbooster (which I think is more of a placebo than anything, but it makes me feel better!) and it runs really well. Most of the performance tweaks from 2.0 won't do anything, somebody correct me if they have something that does work. Example the res proxy and other memory saving cabs will not work on 2.5 as the settings will get overwritten after a soft reset.

This step kills Swype, without it you can use that sip but of course the txt won't send. Anyone else seeing this or found a work around?

Huge thanks to everyone who contributes to releasing 2.5 to the Imagio crowd. I don't contribute because I don't know how but I appreciate those of you with the expertise! Keep up the brilliant work.

Okay, update on my Sense 2.5 experience. The instructions in the first post are excellent and I followed them to a T. I have the new ROM, did a hard reset and started from scratch. The installation went well and 2.5 loaded and ran pretty well. Boot time seems long and I find myself worried about messing with anything until it's fully loaded. The interface was pretty fast and smooth but I found all the same issues everyone else did. I could move stocks around and delete but they had to be updated every time I looked at the screen. The People page was slow.

I tried to send and SMS and it locked up the phone. Soft reset. I installed my Gmail and Hotmail accounts, and MyPhone. After synching with MyPhone I couldn't boot back into the interface. Every time it would start up into a black, unresponsive screen. I've since hard reset and restored my 2.0 setup.

I'd like to run 2.5 because it's SO SEXY but I can't stand the lock-ups total failure.

Has someone established a true, working fix to the SMS issue? If so, what is it? I'm willing to reload 2.5 again if I can be confident there are some things I haven't tried that might improve the stability.
