Who's Going or gone back to 2.1 after trying 2.2? Am I all alone?

I was considering goin back cus i was having a few issues but decided jus to wait a lil longer to see wut the devs do an they delivered.
Damage Control 3.5 is now my new base/favorite rom, jus all around greatness never leaves the sdcard. I hated his rom on 2.1 but he did 2.2 very well.
Currently running Fusion's Senseless 2.4 (cus I hate sense it makes me feel dirty) an not a single issue to report thus far im loving it, plus they both have great battery life 15+ hrs an imma user no im an addict ..this phone just never gets old an i bore very easily

so you dont use Pandora, Slacker, FPS Kernel or aftermarket cameras? Why root to begin with?

well i will say this, the two systems bothhave the fairshare of issues and if you pay close attention to the feedback stats you willsee that 2.2 has less issues than 2.1.
Yes Sense lays better on 2.1 but that the carriers fault because the caps they installed to stop things they dont want you to have, but nobady never taught those restriction /s could be plaging the phones. If you are that much not satistfied them learn to build roms so you will not have to install people preference

Yes there are more problems with 2.1. there has been more time and exposure to discover and resolve these issues. 2.2 is too new and fresh and the issues are just now being discovered.

Its not important however. I bit the bullet for the rest of you. I knew that by going back to 2.1 they would fix 2.2 , as the source code was released this morning. Murphys law. Now the devs will dissect the code and make Froyo run the way its supposed to. Just a matter of days now. And when i say "the way its supposed to" Im refering to the way it does on the Nexus One. Google uses that phone to test everything and the dam thing screams! That is the pinnacle of Googles OS performance and if we eclipse that then all the better.

What issue's does 2.1 have? It was perfect! The best phone osI ever used! I only rooted to use wifi tether, and only flashed customs to see what was better than perfection, lol! I will google this, I gotta see this, lmao!

Made the switch to group now that HTC released source. We now have official kernel!

I use Pandora and Slacker everyday to listen to music at work. Having the official kernel to unlock hasnt fixed the AAC codec so I will stick with my 2.1

Having the official kernel has helped TREMENDOUSLY with browser lag, and otherwise OS jerkiness. Trying Netarchy's newest version, and I must say, if it didn't crash my camera 80% of the time, I would stick with 2.2. No, clearing camera data/hard resetting, rebooting/ does not help



Edit: Still doesn't work with Pandora? Nevermind...
