Re: factory Rom or root 2.2

put your phone into a bowl of ice water. this will "shock" it into failsafe mode. once you turn the phone back on it will revert to the saved backup rom on the device. this has saved me twice now (dont take out the battery when flashing a radio!!! lol) just make sure you put a piece of tape over the water indicator sticker on the phone and battery so it doesnt turn pink. hit thanks if this helped!

I'm rooted via Toast's method..

what you could try at this point is to run the recovery mode from your PC.

Here's a link to review.

You'll mainly need the evo-recovery app...

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...1&d=1278969642

Once you get that downloaded, you cd to c:\evo-recovery. .. then run recovery-windows.bat.

That will probably get you into the recovery mode on the device and let you continue.

Froyo in-call volume really loud

Anyone else notice that the in-call volume is amazingly loud? I flashed the rooted OTA update and holy moly, it's not even lower when I turn it all the way down.

Anyone else notice this?
