I called sprint they told me to take my phone in but when I took it in they told me they couldnt do anything about it. Im calling them back now.
On the phone with retentions..............

WOOOOO HOOOOOOO----IM CRACK FREE!!!! wait that doesnt sound right, lol sounds like im shouting after leaving a drug rehab center, or suddenly i woke up without a butt crack----anywyas yay no crack!! battery still sucks tho *uuugh*

ok Sprint is telling me they have NO calls from anyone else on this matter and that if anyone else is having his issue they need to call and have retentions document it. I would recommend everyone do it now.

Wow lol, I sware I called and had them document it. The first tier call screener for tech support (Brandon) even admitted this being a known issue (at least to him) and transfered me directly to a tech to order a replacement, but the tech didn't know what I was talking about, thankfully Brandon did note my account.

I told the tech, no worries, I am a bit of a loud mouth when it comes to getting people to know about a real problem with anything I own and will try my best to get the word out.

I did go to my original pre-order store. The Manager said that he wasn't aware of this issue, took my phone to talk to his techs. I looked at the tech room, about 6 were fondling my defenseless phone like a stripper at a bachelor party (reminded me of night at the roxbury). Everyone wanted to get a first hand look at the "defect".. My Poor girl, when I got her back I wiped her down and put her clothes back on.. Manager says, ok I am gonna put you down on the new replacement waiting list.

EDIT: Seriously though it's not a huge issue, but again if at only 30-ish days this is the result from normal use, what will these look like in 3 to 6 months, let alone last 'til the end of my 2 years? And I know many if not all of us really like this phone and baby the F outta it.. At least my HTC (Apache Joysticks broke, Mogul Rocker/Dial broke on 2 units), but my Vogue, Diamond, Touch Pro and Touch Pro 2 never visibly physically broke..

Ok so there isnt an "official word" on this issue yet but they did replace my phone with a brand new one coming in the mail so its a start.

Ha ha warchild..you are just like me, I'm getting a new phone and I want it documented.. I wanna swap stories with you on how you get tight @$$ sprint to give you a replacement..
