Re: Update fixed grounding issue

Sounds good, been away from my PC for a while and just experienced this. Thanks. Still pretty excited about the fix.

Re: Major bug after update. Affects all programs.

To everyone who is angry and upset and pointing fingers at Sprint or HTC, look at your hand when you point. There are 3 fingers pointed back at yourself. Several of us were strongly urging a "wait and see" attitude (look for my posts yesterday and last night, for instance, and there were others urging caution too), but there were so many here chomping at the bit to get the update, even be the first. Anyone with some experience in these things would assume a strong likelihood that they would be trying to mess with root, wifi tether, anything they could, not to mention the possibility it would unintentionally break stuff. And all this for a minor update for minor issues, like the screen grounding problem.

So to those who haven't updated, even if you are totally stock, why not just wait. Those of us who have been around a while have even seen them pull updates after a couple of days because they were so flawed. Now some folk's phones are bricked, broken, or having troubles of some sort. Was it worth it for so many to have to be "test dummies", when a few hours or days would have shed some light on things? I think not......

Edit: Think about having a "wait and see" attitude when Froyo comes out too. A few more days doesn't hurt, and can help you make a more informed decision

Background data always on after update?

After the update.. It seems like no matter what I check for background data under Accounts and Sync, it still enables background data. Anyone else see this?

Re: Major bug after update. Affects all programs.

Yeah, no problems other than the widgets messing up.

So far so good.
