Then it's confirmed.

It displays 3 resolutions for the HDMI output:
1. Automatic (Default)
2. 720p
3. 480p

Re: official Evo upgrade list(what changes were made)

I'm not to sure I'll ever use that, at least for now. It sure isn't worth breaking anything else for. I wonder what happens in my present config? Perhaps the same menu pops up from somewhere when you connect it........

Exclamation Re: official Evo upgrade list(what changes were made)

According to the Unrevoked wiki, these are the changes they noticed in the OTA:

Changes in this OTA

This OTA update contains the following changes, in addition to those listed on Sprint's web page:

New boot.img (as of yet undissected).
New recovery.img (as of yet undissected).
Radio update (as of yet undissected).
Behavior unexpected; anticipated upgrade to baseband 2.05.00.06.10, but on one EVO resulted in 1.39.00.05.31, and on another resulted in 1.39.00.04.26.
WiMAX update to address issues on ClearWire's network.
Patch to hstools binary to close hole used in unrevoked.
hstools now validates interface names against a whitelist before passing them to the shell.
Increases bitrate for MPEG4 videos recorded from 6MBit to 8MBit.
New WiFi firmwares (both AP and normal mode). Changes appear large.
WiFi kernel module updated.
WiMAX SDIO kernel module updated.
Many app and framework updates.

Update fixed grounding issue

I updated earlier this morning. I just noticed, that the update fixed the screen grounding unresponsive issue. I was playing with the evo while it was laying in my couch, which was usually a place that made my EVO's top portion of the screen did not work. Well, after the update it is working. I guess they fixed that issue. Please respond if this has happened to you too. Thanks.

Sounds good, been away from my PC for a while and just experienced this. Thanks. Still pretty excited about the fix.
