Re: did the new OTA break your EVO?
I think people get paranoid. ..... Others may have problems related to mods and or 3rd party apps which is just something that happens.
I had a LOT of updates off the market after the update today make sure you update those as well.

Re: Google Talk Keeps Reactivating After Update
I noticed this right away. I also thought my battery was getting killed, and it may be, but my test will be tonight. I will leave gtalk running in the background (but signed out and all that, if I kill it entirely, gmail won't push) and see what I lose in battery overnight. Last night, with wifi, gps and everything on, I lost 1% in 6 hours while I was sleeping. That was my best to date, usually it's 3-5%. Anything much more than that and I'll know this is screwing with my battery.
I can't speak for when it's on yet. I think this update has everyone all flustered and thus constantly checking their phones, thereby draining the battery faster than usual. |

Update fixed grounding issue
I updated earlier this morning. I just noticed, that the update fixed the screen grounding unresponsive issue. I was playing with the evo while it was laying in my couch, which was usually a place that made my EVO's top portion of the screen did not work. Well, after the update it is working. I guess they fixed that issue. Please respond if this has happened to you too. Thanks.
