Hey there RileyD. Not that my opinion matters a whole lot (im a super android noob) but I completely agree with dakidobf. This app is great and im seeing improvements on the battery when im not doing much. But I use my phone alot (12+ hrs a day) so I dont expect to go a day without a charger. That and I just wanted to say Hi, and im glad u got an Evo.

Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

This is working like a charm 5 hours still at 95% battery. Yesterday by this time, I was at 50%. I also use ATK, and startup monito 2.0, have 4g and wifi off.

Also I do use my phone all day. I mean its not my computer, but I do surf, text, im, ect...

I do agree that you save the most power when you screen is off, but paired with other "tricks", its a good download

seems to lag a bit when installed, the app drawer will seem sluggish to me, max settings while screen on but still

Hey Derek! Good to see you around here as well. I am very happy to get the Evo. Great device. Thanks for the feedback on this as well. Probably will try it. Honestly battery has been good for me without any tweaks. Getting approximately 17-20 hrs before it needs charged with moderate usage. But would like to see if this improves it. Just need to take the time to root that damn phone. I know...my tp2 was unlocked in about 5 minutes Just taking sometime this round. LOL.

It really takes no time at all to root the phone. If you are not using custom roms then just use the unrevoked method. It takes literally a minute to do and makes it very easy to use this widget.

Its the overclock widget. Click the "suppress notification" box in the settings and it will end that.
