Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

I couldnt establish the frequency range and cannot verify the cpu usage once set. Basically I am not confident that this app is effectively monitoring/controlling the cpu.

(And the widget is not very attractive )

I use SetCPU with profiles set at full high & low except sleep & temp which I set at H640/L245. (Make sure you place exclusion on SetCPU in Task Killer or the profiles wont work) and have seen impressive results. It also displays the actual CPU speed which lends me to believe that it works...

Just a personal observation/opinion...

Does anyone know the name of the application showing the battery level on the screenshot?

Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

Maybe a dumb question, but why isn't this feature built right into the system? A kabillion dollars worth of engineers and testing misses it and a bunch of dudes on the internet fix it in a week! Does anyone think forwarding this to HTC would cause them to take a look and give us an update? I kinda like the phone the way it is and want to save rooting for when I start to get bored and it is more developed. Am I alone?
