Glad that works for you - I never got anywhere close to that type of life.

There are 7 others at my office with EVOs and the only person who got remotely close to that without tweaks did not yet have a google account (thus he was not syncing anything, had not Gtalk or calendar.) The rest of us always had our chargers or spares at the ready - until now.

I have Exchange delivering email as it arrives (and appts and contacts), gmail, and gtalk. Given the way I use my EVO, battery saving tweaks are an absolute must.

I have 3 google accounts. One Gmail two apps, all syncing contacts and email. the gmail syncs the calendar. I had horrible life too in the beginning till I solved the sleep issue. Also today has been the best day I had so far and it's my first day after removing ATK. I am rooted, but mostly for the wifi hotspot. Now I do have good 3G here but am using Wifi right now.

Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

Disabled OCWidget... I started getting errors everytime I turned the screen on... Disable and all is fine...

I think I'm just gonna wait for my 1750mAh to get here and see how that does for me...

Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

Ok my experience so far: usually I leave the BT on. Before using this I was getting about 70% -65% at the end of the day (about 7 1/2 - 8 hours off the charger).

Right now, I'm sitting here with the BT radio OFF and it displays 59%!!!

Conclusion: Uninstalled.

Re: Root + OverclockWidget = Insane Battery Life 40+ Hours

I'm wondering if people who see success with this technique have rooted using the toast method or the unrevoked method. I've used the unrevoked method and have not seen any improvement. Hopefully people can start including which method they have used to see if there is any correlation to improved battery life. I show high numbers on the icon when the screen is off and lower when in use. I've got my setting set to the same as the screen shot.
