i feel i know the answer but i wanna double check, setting it at 988 and 200 isnt actually overclocking the processor just telling it to slow down when not in use correct?

works but phone is def slower when you are using it, i uninstalled it and gonna get bigger batt

Make sure you set the min and max on screen settings to the highest settings. The phone will run at full speed when in use then.

Can someone explain why this works? The access to the kernel should not be available. Also, other software shows that they cpu does not actually set that low, also android already slows down the cpu on it's own when not in use.

2nd that. While the screen is on I have not noticed any decrease in speed. My screen on settings are Min 576000 Max 998400. Now to see if it saves power over the long haul when off...
