why cant I flash my Evo?

I need some help...

Rooted my Evo with Unrevoked 3.3
Installed Titanium Backup
Installed Root Manager

Backed up Apps using Titanium
Backed up Rom using Rom Manager

did the Flash ClockworkMod Recovery thing

when I go to Install Rom from SD Card is starts to run the process it starts to install the rom but then the screen go into wierd colors and just restarts without installing the new rom.

Did I miss something?

Re: why cant I flash my Evo?

Sp4rtan is just mad that his IPhone isnt the king of the hill anymore and he is stuck with that shitty ass network AT$T

Anyways...use ROM Manager to flash AMON RA alternate recovery, then try again. Then go find an iphone fanboy and mock the shit out of him.

Go into Recovery and Wipe your Cache and Dalvik Cache. But before you do that, do a full Nanroid Backup.

Re: EVERYTHING EVO - Rooting | NAND | Flashing Roms | Wipe

taking a close look I can see it start the update and then is says aborted, thats when it just reboots.

Sorry for not knowing but how do I go about getting a AMON RA recovery and doing a NANROID backup?

Did it look like the attached?

I am hitting the same thing. I have wiped everything and am trying to flash Azreal 3.0. I also reset permissions. But I can't seem to get this Rom to flash. I have verified that I am S = Off. I know I am successfully rooted since I have been able to grant SU to various apps.

She is rooted with S = Off so I am putting this to rest for tonight. There is a marathon of Three Stooges on AMC.
I have my priorities. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk

This is on my daughter's Christmas EVO.
She has the lastest Bootloader 2.12
and a 004 hardware.
