i have been doing alot of reading on here and other websites about this all of them are saying that it isnt complete yet
(1.) Is this true?

i watched the video of the 2.2 rom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Px7aRF4DY2Q its from evo-ology (2.)i would like to know if there is a complete version of that one or a better one available

(3.) to install do i just boot into recovery (like when i rooted the phone) and run whatever rom i decide on? or is there directions on this?

There are plenty of "complete" Froyo ROMs available here and at xda in the Android/EVO development section.

To ask you a question: When exactly is an OS complete? Google will continue to upgrade and improve Android, as will Apple with iOS, and Blackberry with RIM, and etc. 2.2 is "complete" enough to release it and call it an upgrade. The next version will be 3.0/Gingerbread.

To install, just place on your SD, boot into recovery and flash the ROM image. Do a nand backup first. There are typically links to instructions in all of the ROM threads.

PLEASE HELP.
I'm trying to root mo stock 1.47 EVO

I'm stuck on step 5N. Get the "cannot create directory ..." error.
I tried following the instructions for manually creating a "BEC..." directory by opening all sorts of flash sites, but it's not happening. The websites just load.
The only thing I see inside /app-cache/com.android.browser is webviewCache
So I can't run the cat /system/bin/rsync /system/bin/rsync /system/bin/rsync > foo command.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

HI, I followed your video, however I am unable to flash to any of the newer 2.2 custom ROMs, I need an Upgrade script not found error. is there a progression i have to follow to get the latest 2.2 Rom or atleast a 2.1 Android system.
