Well one more day to go for the release @ BB. Well i found out this morning that @ my job (sams club)that we are sleeing the EVO for 178 2 yr contract or 460 out the door with no contract. So i called BB to price match it since they price match competitors. And it was a go, so ill be getting mine for 178

called my BB today and was told to just come pick it up on the 4th anytime i guess,also at bb i ordered they are only giving free BT Headsets to the 1st 30 people.I will be calling back tomorrow morning and seeing if i have a guaranteed device on friday since its a bit far.

This may be a silly question but will using a screen protector affect the responsiveness of the touch screen? Ive always used a regular belt clip case for my phones so I never used one. Im assuming it wouldn’t affect it but just wanted to know for sure before I buy one.

No it will not. But depending on the kind you buy, the texture will be different.

Like Zagg will feel rubbery and a little bumpy. Like an orange peel.
Zagg responsiveness is around the same.

I've noticed that Best Skins Ever effected the responsiveness a little.

Does anyone know the exact way BB is going to handle this release tomorrow? So they will just hold all the pre-ordered phones and not sell any...I'm assuming all phones are pre-ordered, but what if you go into best buy and have already pre-ordered but you are on the "second list"? You think they will really only sell the phones in the same order that they were pre-ordered in?

They have a case option with belt clip they wont tell you but there already are accessories at locations black w clip purple and grey without clip.

just received my call from best buy and it wasn't for setting up an appointment it was more so to offer accessories.i told them id either pick it up at opening or after 5 and it was cool with them.the waiting begins.

also,like stated above they have purple and gray hard cases and a black case with belt clip.

I ordered my evo late, and ended being like #15 on the second shipment. Miraculously enough, BB just called to set up a pickup appointment for tomorrow morning. The sad thing is I have to push it back to the evening because the rocket scientists at the sprint store said i can't pickup my replacement tp2 until 5:00. The things we'll make ourselves wait for just to get a discount.

Any ideas how much off BB will give on a refurb tp2?
