Are you sure they offered it to you for free? When I got my call, the lady said they would have them available and if I wanted, They would put it on ahead of time so I didn't have to wait for this. But there was a $40 charge (part for the skin and part for applying it). I told her no anyways since I have a Ghost Armor on the way to me.

cool....just got a call from my local BB, I was set up for the 9th (second wave) guess they got more than expected so she set me up for the 4th at 5:30PM. What a great way to start the weekend!!

I had to call my BB to see what was going on with the appointments. They never called me and said oh, no one has called you yet? For those who haven't gotten their call yet, I'd suggest making the call yourself!

I got the whole Zagg thing too, $20+installation...

Well one more day to go for the release @ BB. Well i found out this morning that @ my job (sams club)that we are sleeing the EVO for 178 2 yr contract or 460 out the door with no contract. So i called BB to price match it since they price match competitors. And it was a go, so ill be getting mine for 178 Just a heads up for ppl that have a sams club around them. Just price match it. Hope this helps sum ppl getting it a lil cheaper. Even if u wanna get it right out at full price.

I just got my call from BB. I'm 2:45 pm (I have training in the morning at 7:30 and the soonest was 9:30 am). They offered 2 chargers for $30 or 1 charger and invisible shield for $30. Friday can not come soon enough.

My wife and I were the first to pre-order from our BB. She called and was told that pre-orders are first come, first serve, but assured her they would have the 35 pre-ordered phones they've reserved.

Of course, we don't believe a word she said (@ pre-order the clerk didn't even know they were available until my wife pressed him to check the system) and will be there when they open. Little nervous reading about these appointments.

Finally got my call from BB. I was the first to pre-order. I got the first appointment bright n early at 8am. They are opening one hour early for the EVO release. They didn't offer me anything free but tried to sell me a Zagg and a bunch of other accessories. (I already have a full-body shield waiting to be installed...) My wife is number 20-something in line but they said I can pick hers up at the same time!!!

Well, I called Best Buy...the guy on the phone was very nice, he pulled out the pre-order list, said "you're number 9 and we think we are getting 18 phones"...then he said "and I will make note here that you will not be in until 6 or 7 pm, I'll be here friday, we will have a phone for you"...so I'm pretty excited, heading there right after work friday to pick it up .
