doesn't really matter - that is why we give you the giftcard. so we don't have to worry about refunding someones money and then giving them a phone...

I saw this on my Reward zone login. They are having a sale and that includes the EVO which I was suprised about since everybody is worried about not getting there preorder. i guess they will have enough if they are including the EVO in this program.

I may be able to shed some light on this...

I went back to my local BB yesterday and spoke with the Mobile Manager. I explained that I was a little agitated that I pre-ordered the phone (2nd wave), and even after doing so any extra EVOs that would come in were only for walk-in customers. I told him that I didn't understand how they could justify selling any extra EVOs to walk-in customers, and not sell them to the first in line for the 2nd wave.

This is what he told me:

"I understand what you mean, sir. I don't necessarily agree with it either, but it's basically a matter of our sale catalog. In our catalog there is a small number by any item that is an approximation of the amount we have in stock. If we put out the catalog, but then have none in stock, we could get in big trouble for false advertising."

Honestly, they'll probably have EVOs for that event previously posted. They'll just tell people that they're out of stock, which would "technically" be true if referring to "sellable" stock.

BB is kinda shady. lol

I wonder if I'll get a call...I pre-ordered mine so long ago I forget what day it was...have to check the reciept when I get home tonight...I hope they didn't lost track of it, as I won't be able to get there until after work (6 pm probably), and I'll be pretty bummed out if my phone isn't there.

Finally got my call just now... she confirmed the $449 price match, told me ill get a bluetooth and since im buying outright I can be there when the door opens... pay and walk out.
