Re: HTC EVO 4G Review phonescoop kinda dogs it out!

I get so confused by people talking about how bad the video is, have you guys owned a phone with a camera before? Because you're acting like the others are better. If I even so much as twitch with mine the entire screen turns into a hot blurred mess. The video on this is 100x better and it excited me every time I see it in action, no matter what the rest say.

Agreed.

I think that most people are trying to compare their point and shoot cameras to the phone's camera. The point and shoot will win most of the time because phone cameras use a different and far weaker lens.

As far as HD video goes, its the same thing.

Just be happy that it takes better pictures and video than other phones!
If you are wanting professional looking pictures and video, then why are you using a phone to accomplish this in the first place?

On a happier note.....8 more days! Can't wait!

15 with the evo sorry w pics

[QUOTE=saucratiz;1776029]So I went into my local sprint store atl sub to to a swap for my touch pro 2, and was talking to the guy and out of the blue he pulls an Evo out of his pocket, He said that he had not had it more than a day and that he had not really gotten a chance to play with it yet... and imho he really did not know much about the android platform

My initial impression it is huge, but in a good way screen is just crisp and amazing no worries about fitting in a pocket and its easy to in hand,
the onscreen keyboard is easy to use in portrait or landscape, no worries

The device is fast, freaking fast in doing just task

the guy did not know much about the device so he let me hold it when while he went to the back, i quickly headed to the market to download the speed test app and do a speed test and on 3g it was just blazing at 1.3 and 1,7 mbps the guy had the 4g radio off said his batt was draining so we got out a moment and did a speed test and it was running around 1.2 1.5 he did turn on the 4g radio we got speeds of 3.3 and 3.6 which i was surprised cause I did not think the tower in that area was active yet as the sprint site always says coming soon, I asked if he got 4g at his house cause i heard that signals were not good in doors, he said no 4g where he lives. no biggie for me since i work downtown and spend most of my day outside downtown,
the dark pic was a speed test on 4g that is running over 3 megs but tp2 camera missed it

Still was unable to test battery as I was in the basement at work with no signal which in turn killed the battery within 5 hours. I'm going have to wait till this weekend.

I can just type very fast on my TP2 and I have been practicing a little bit with my TP2 onscreen keyboard and I find myself always making mistakes. Granted when I first switched from TP1 to TP2 even that took a while to get used to.
The keyboard is actually not that bad at all especially in landscape mode. Of course it's not as good as a hardware keyboard but it gets the job done. There are more available in the Market if it's not for u

+1 My 16GB card never comes out. I just use the usb cable and access it that way to move things around. I always have an extra charged battery so battery life isn't really an issue. There isn't 4G here in Jax, FL yet so won't have to pay the extra $10 right away, and wifi hotspot doesn't interest me as work provides me an aircard. I just want the NEW TOY!!!!!

Don't be too sure about not having to pay the extra $10 right away
