Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?
But how are people getting around the must have everything plan? i understand the plan you guys have but how does it take it?
I am so pissed at sprint i have had sprint for 10 plus years and my bill is 138$ a month for 7 lines with all the perks but i can't get a evo unless i pay for another whole account. I would have to get the ED450 and get my 25% discount and they still have my account marked for the 10/24 even though it is done with. My bill would be about 50$ that is 1/3 for what i pay for 7 lines now and i have 2500 minutes and every perk you can think of. |

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?
I see you need a "3rd party employee" plan to get a rep to make the modification. And even then, the Rep would NOT being following protocol precisely by making this mod for you so it will be hit or miss depending on the Rep. This plan needs to be like a corp. employer plan (i.e. plan when you worked at Best Buy, Sprint Store, Radio Shack, etc.). Plus you have to actually HAVE the EVO in hand to give them the ESN. This is a risk if you can't get it done and then you have the phone that wont work on your plan.
It appears this Indirect Demo modification technique only works with this unique type of plan. SERO users are still SOL.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?
Sprint must of caught wind to this because of the mass of people calling in to do this. Also some unlucky people that no longer works for the employer will get audit and will need to provide proof of employment...end up losing the plan completely.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?
No successful with the name of the plan.... you would have to change it to the Indirect Employee Demo Plan "W" It is essentially the same plan, just a different name, plus the $10 charge.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?
Is this only a problem if you were not up for an upgrade? I'm on an employee plan and I was able to get the phone no problem without it affecting my employee discount.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?
Sucks for the folks on advantage accounts waiting on their upgrade. Thats exactly why I just paid cash and got mine day one... at first they said it'd be available second week in July.. then the end of July.. then pushed it back again to August. I laugh everytime I see the email they send because i've had mine for 2 months almost lol.
