But then you both are not on the Free and Clear 3000 min plan anymore.

We're trying to keep our plan.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

Rumor on SprintUsers.com

http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/sho...=207732&page=2

...I was informed this morning that BEST BUY MOBILE EMPLOYEES (this could possibly apply to other third party retailers, such as Radio Shack) will be able to activate the Evo on their third party employee plans starting June 20th. I believe the official Sprint employee limitations til next month are still in effect, but I'm not certain.

I was told by my rep today over the phone, but tomorrow I'll be able to retrieve the official email from work with the policy and whatnot, then post an update for everyone here tomorrow night.

She also mentioned employee pricing on the unit still would not be available, but that I could buy it at full price.......

I so hope this is true.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

UPDATE

Here's my situation - Used to work for a third party retailer, but have not worked there for almost 5 years now. I am still on the Free and Clear 3000 Employee Plan. It has unlimited data, text, etc.

I purchased an EVO online and received it last night. I called the 1-888-876-8381 number previously listed in this forum and spoke with a rep. We tried to activate it and it would not let her go through without a plan change. Sucks!

Also tried the online ESN swap to no avail, also wants a plan change.

I just don't think I can give it up for the $20 a month. I only talk on my phone about 100 minutes a month and use 200 texts. No way I'm going to pay $60+/month. I'll stick with this piece of crap HTC Touch.

I don't blame you....I really don't want to give up my plan.
July can't get here soon enough.

Re: HTC EVO on Sprint Employee Account ?

Im also under an employee and have Wireless Advantage Fair and Flexible plan but i got my Evo on the 11th thanks to an employee care rep who hates radio shack as much as I do lol...Basically she switched my account to a normal customer account so radioshack could activate it and wen that was done she simply switched it back lol ..and together we beat the system. My cousin (the employee) is pissed lol
