Re: Just Returned my Diamond....
again I agree with you that using those devices would make fore a more complete test, but HTC does make their own line of BT headsets. so from a business perspective they could just check to make sure their line works and ours does not. but regardless, its not good business to have issues with the industry leaders in a device market. im crossing my fingers that I get one of the "good" ones lol.

like John McCain says, talk softly, carry a big stick. I have now officially returned my Diamond and reactivated my Touch.

Re: Just Returned my Diamond....
I'm relatively new in the PPC market (about 3 weeks) but I've already owned 2 in that time, (mogul and touch). I've played with the diamond as well, and after lots of review I decided on the touch. I think the Diamond is a good phone, the VGA is great, and its an attractive phone, but in my opinion, it is most definitely not enough of an improvement to justify the price difference. Accelerometer is kinda neat, but really useless. I have a button set to flip the screen on my touch and it works faster than waiting for the diamond to do it on its own. My single 8gb micro sd is double the diamonds storage and I can have more if I want it. The Diamond has more ram, but I have tons of stuff on my touch, and even with 7 or 8 apps running in the background (some of those were gps, opera, and media player) I've never seen the memory usage above 62%, and it was still running smoothly. Then there's the big issue of battery life, I went ahead and got the extended life battery for the touch and I get 2 days out of it with no problem, but even without the bigger battery the touch still had a lot better battery life than the diamond.

Re: Just Returned my Diamond....
For me, the screen resolution alone was enough to justify the upgrade. I can do so much more in terms of internet browsing. My eyes are pretty good, so its great to read web pages without even zooming. I couldn't imagine going back to a 320x240 resolution ever again. Being able to cram this much legible information onto a 2.8" screen is amazing.

Re: Just Returned my Diamond....
I came from a long line of Treo's and personally I love my Diamond. Battery sucks but it's because I have the brightness all the way up. How can you not on this excellent screen? And is anybody else a huge fan of the camera? it's way better than I thought it was going to be!
