Re: Just Returned my Diamond....

I'm relatively new in the PPC market (about 3 weeks) but I've already owned 2 in that time, (mogul and touch). I've played with the diamond as well, and after lots of review I decided on the touch. I think the Diamond is a good phone, the VGA is great, and its an attractive phone, but in my opinion, it is most definitely not enough of an improvement to justify the price difference. Accelerometer is kinda neat, but really useless. I have a button set to flip the screen on my touch and it works faster than waiting for the diamond to do it on its own. My single 8gb micro sd is double the diamonds storage and I can have more if I want it. The Diamond has more ram, but I have tons of stuff on my touch, and even with 7 or 8 apps running in the background (some of those were gps, opera, and media player) I've never seen the memory usage above 62%, and it was still running smoothly. Then there's the big issue of battery life, I went ahead and got the extended life battery for the touch and I get 2 days out of it with no problem, but even without the bigger battery the touch still had a lot better battery life than the diamond.
