Re: Just Returned my Diamond....
I see where you are coming from but that to me would be like Honda saying we make cars, not gasoline - it isn't our fault that Shell 93 octane works with our new Honda CoPilot but Arco, Exxon, Chevron etc don't work. If it was just one 86 octane at Joe's gas & bait that didn't work - that would be understandable but for so many to have issues, it kind makes me think the fault lies with HTC. Strangely enough, hundai, toyota, ford, mercedes and bmw don't have issues with Arco, Exxon or Chevron gas - just the honda copilot - must be the gas suppliers fault? A flimsy shield at best. I can use my headset with Motorola phones, other HTC phones, Palm phones, Samsung phones (work great) etc. I'd have to say the fault lies with HTC. Maybe the only have one BT headset in the whole company and they tweaked the diamond so it works great with that headset - I'd still say they should be responsible for testing with a few manufacturers. I'm pretty sure they can afford $400 worth of headsets. They could probably even get them for free if they certfied them for use with the phone.
Or Duracell saying they don't run energy plants. It isn't our fault that your rechargeable batteries can't hold a charge - it must be the fault of your local power company.
