Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

happasaiyan, appreciate you taking time to post the pics.

1) Is the area where the home key, phone key, etc. covered also? Hard to tell.

2) I take it this will prevent any scratching of the covered areas of the device, though probably wouldn't protect the screen from cracking if dropped? Do you put it in a case also?

abovelegit, would like to see the pics when you have a chance. Do you use a case or just put the device in your pocket?

Chef Ben or anyone that knows, what does BSE stand for? Couldn't find it on the internet. I know BSE as a medical abbreviation for Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (i.e. Mad Cow disease), though I doubt you're referring to this.....

Thanks....

yes, there is a piece that covers the home/back/send/end buttons...and also one that goes on the enter key in the middle. i think there are 9 pieces total? that is correct, it prevents from scratches, but will not prevent breaking. im assuming it does absorb some shock, and keeps it more secure, but ultimately, the phone can still be "broken"

Just received mine

I just received mine yesterday. I ordered a couple of weeks ago, followed up with an email, and got the similar email response that others received. They were finally shipped UPS and I received them a day after I received the shipping notice from Zagg. Some have said they received the screen protector without the whole cut over the ear piece. Mine definitely has the hole on the screen protector spot.

Thanks for the pictures. They will help me figure out where to put mine on.

I have to admit though, that the pictures make the skin look kind of ugly. I don't know if that is just how it looks in the photos or not. Now that I look at very closely at my Diamond with my screen protector on it, the screen protector looks kind of ugly too, so I'm probably just looking to closely and being too critical.

I'm going to install mine tonight and see how it looks. I have used the BSE version on an earlier phone, and was pretty happy with it. Hard to install though.

I messed up my screen protector which came in the box, so I bought some patronus protectors off of Ebay. They were about $10 shipped for a pack of 5. The Patronus protector looks fantastic and feels great, BUT the ear hole is slightly off center. It's not a big deal, but it bugs me they didn't cut them correctly.

I'm going to try the Invisibleshield over the screen. If it doesn't look good, I'll go back to the Patronus version with the off-center ear hole cut.
