Mine definitely has the hole on the screen protector spot.

Thanks for the pictures. They will help me figure out where to put mine on.

I have to admit though, that the pictures make the skin look kind of ugly. I don't know if that is just how it looks in the photos or not. Now that I look at very closely at my Diamond with my screen protector on it, the screen protector looks kind of ugly too, so I'm probably just looking to closely and being too critical.

I'm going to install mine tonight and see how it looks. I have used the BSE version on an earlier phone, and was pretty happy with it. Hard to install though.

I messed up my screen protector which came in the box, so I bought some patronus protectors off of Ebay. They were about $10 shipped for a pack of 5. The Patronus protector looks fantastic and feels great, BUT the ear hole is slightly off center. It's not a big deal, but it bugs me they didn't cut them correctly.

I'm going to try the Invisibleshield over the screen. If it doesn't look good, I'll go back to the Patronus version with the off-center ear hole cut.
the phone is definitely more attractive without the skin, but now i dont have to worry about it getting scratched.

Boxwave Screen protector applied, Zagg Invisible Shield micro-fiber carrying pouch. Unlike the above posts with the Zagg screen protector I don't notice it being unattractive at all, the gloss makes it more attractive and it does very well against finger prints.

nice, yours looks better than mine! but mine sits in my lint-filled pockets and collects dust on the edges of the shield.

oh yeah. my wife wants one on her diamond now because the back piece makes it look "prettier"- it actually gives the back a sparkly appearance.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

I want to buy a full body shield for my Diamond and don't know if I sould get the I Invisible Shield or the Best Skin Ever. The BSE is a lot cheaper but, is any good?

What should I get?

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

Got mine from BSE over the weekend. I applied all but the screen protector so far because I have a really new OEM screen protector and I didn't want to waste it. I'm going to see how it goes today, but I'm already thinking I will go ahead and replace the screen protector portion as well. The BSE material does not show fingerprints and smudges nearly as much as the Sprint OEM protector. I'll try to take pics later today. Here are my suggestions for application:

Supplies: alcohol wipes (individual wrapped squares saturated with rubbing alcohol), a small spray bottle (can be found in the empty travel containers section at places like Wal-Mart or Target), a microfiber cleaning cloth or equivalent, (you want a towel that does not drop dust and fiber; paper towels can scratch and are not always absorbent enough, a new wash cloth can drop too much lint, try a baby wash cloth or a really old wash cloth if you don't have a microfiber cloth), a can of compressed air, a credit card or similar for a squeege, fingernails (if you don't have them aquire a lovely assistant who does)

BSE skins do not come with their own application solution. You have to mix it. It's only water with a drop of liquid soap. Baby shampoo or liquid hand soap will work and you only need a drop in the spray bottle full of water.

First, take out the battery. Leave the battery out until everything is dry again. Then take an alcohol wipe, first blot in on your cloth so it's not so wet and then wipe the area you're going to apply the first piece to. Usually that's the screen. The alcohol wipe will remove the oils from your fingertips, you just don't want it too wet or it gets streaky. If it streaks, wipe it off with the cloth and be sure to use the compressed air to remove any bits of dust or lint. I laid the phone on the microfiber cloth while applying the skin to keep it steady and to absorb excess water. Next gently peel the first piece of the skin off of it's backing. The part that is against the backing will go against your phone. It's sticky. Place the piece sticky side up on palm or fingertips and spray it generously with the water/soap solution. Use the fingers of your other hand to smooth the water across the surface. Don't worry if it feels too wet, a little wetter is better than too dry. If it's too dry it will keep sticking to your fingers. Being sure to apply the sticky side down, gently lay it on the surface. It works best to sort of roll it across by starting at one end or corner and working your way across. Poisition it carefully and use the cloth to smooth out any air or water bubbles. If it's crooked or has too many bubbles, pull it up now. The dryer it gets the harder it is to remove. If your skin was wet enough, you probably won't have any air bubbles, but you may have some water bubbles. Work them out using the cloth or squeege. Be careful not to stretch the skin too much. Use your fingers nails along the edges to firm them down. Along really smooth edges you can use the back of your nail. If you want to be sure you don't mess up the first piece when you apply the 2nd, give it a few minutes to set in place before starting the next one. When applying the smaller end pieces or the pieces around the camera lens, fingernails really help. I used the edge of my nail to help line up the edge and press it into place. Also, when you put the pieces on the top and bottom of the back cover (they are separate pieces with the BSE skin), it helps to have someone hold the phone vertically upright so you can use both hands to apply the skin.

I have put the skin over the camera's clear lens cover. The pics are blurrier than they were without it. I've not decided if I'll just remove the whole back cover to take important pics or if I'll remove that piece and take pics through the plastic cover.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

Newly installed BSE skin

the screen itself still has the OEM Sprint screen saver on it, but the finger pad at the bottom has the BSE skin on it.

There is no skin for the black edge around the diamond. The back cover is completely covered, including the camera lens cover, at the moment. That is a separate piece so it can be taken off or just not used if you don't want to cover the lens cover. The front covers only the front surface, not the black edge just around the edge.

If I decide to change the screen protector soon, I'll photo that as well.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

I've used Invisible Shield and found it functionally equivalent to the eBay cheapies.

I just bought a 6-pack of Diamond screen guards for about $10 on eBay. They're much better and more smudge-resistant than the one that came with the phone. They fit better, too. It takes a keen eye to even tell that there is anything installed.
