Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

ive ruined every screen protector ive ever tried to apply because of tiny specs of dust that make bubbles, so i take it off, and then the edges lose their stickiness and look like crap.

Oh S**T, I do the same thing. it better not happen with this one. On the vid I watch i seems like there is more of a system involved, than just putting on your normal screen protector

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

tHE KEY TO PUTTING ON SCREEN PROTECTORS IS A HOT SHOWER. ZGo to your bathroom and turn the hot water on the shower. Let the whole room steam up for 5 minutes with the door closed. Then before you enter the restroom full of steam, take your cloth off completely. (except you undies ) Then go in ready with the screen protector in hand unpeeled. Then grab your PDA and make sure you dont have nothing on the screen and just apply gently the pretector. DOnt grab the edges of the screen protector when peeling it. Grab the edges only. ANd remember.. even if you get bubles, leave trhem alone... they take about 2 days to go awaay. Remeber that plastic does not seal air. The molecules are too small to stary trappewd forever.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

Seems like it has to be put on perfectly. When it's all we can you slide it a bit to perfectly align it? That's the problem with the stock cover for me. If you put it on perfectly is fits perfectly but it's a miracle if you get it started perfectly. Seems like inviisidhield is like a decal and you could slide it a bit if it doesn't go on just perfectly the you could slide it until it's perfect. Is that right?

i used the product twice and removed it twice only messed up my touch screen however that is because they ( htc ) used cheap glue to set the inner screen together hence the rainbow on the screen

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

i will probably be buying a total body skin from best skins ever once i decide whether i want to keep my diamond or trade for a touch pro when it comes out.

i have the invisible shield on my ipod from a 50% deal last time and its great. i would love to have it on my diamond. it provides protection without taking away from its aesthetic appeal

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

I installed an Invisishield on 2 Instincts and I can tell you it is not as hard as everyone is making it seem at all.

Clean the screen with some alcohol and let dry...
I recommend doing the steamy shower trick to minimize dust...
Peel off Invisishield...
Spray the solution on your hand (no finger prints) and on the shield
Apply the screen protector and move it around until it is positioned perfectly...
Squeeze out all the unnecessary water (from the center outwards) with the provided sqeegy thing...
Let it dry for about 7 hours overnight and you are good to go the next day!!!

It was sticky at first but after using your fingers for a while and getting some of that lovely human oil on there the screen is essentially perfect. It was much easier typing with the on-screen keyboard but usign the stylus did feel different(more sticky to slide).

The Invisishield does what it was meant to do very well... PROTECT!!!

No experience whatsoever taking one off but I am 99.999856% sure it will NOT ruin your phone!!!

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

Doesn't anyone on feel that putting these on makes the phone lose its sleek smooth feel and turn it into a really tacky feel?

I had this on my nano before and decided to take it off cause it makes the feel and the wheel feel much too tacky.

But the protection of course is great. Scratch free
