Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

For anyone who's interested, I found a fairly recent review comparing the 2 (Boxwave Crystal vs Anti-Glare).

http://dragonsteelmods.com/index.php...7781&Itemid=38

It's not *that* detailed, but in the end, the review chooses the Crystal Boxwave due to its clarity.

I'm trying to see if the Crystal also repels dust and fingerprints like the Anti-Glare does, however, but I doubt it's as effective in this regard.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

I received my BSE yesterday and installed it on my Diamond last night. So far it looks quite good and there is better clarity on the screen then with the stock screen protector. It does not diminish the look of the diamond at all so I am quite happy so far.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

For those of you using the Boxwave screen protector, do you use a case to protect it in the setting of dropping the device?

For example, like this case: http://www.extremepda.com/DIAMHTC-HSC-BLK.html

Or do you just put it in your pocket and be really careful not to drop it?

I ordered mine on the 8th and it hasn't shipped yet. Be prepared to wait a month or longer.

If they email back today with the same copy/paste garbage I got the last two times, I'm cancelling and going with the boxwave anti glare.

I am using bodyguardz and I love it. I haven't read this entire blog so I don't know who I am repeating here... but I have the full plastic "skin" and it comes in pieces. I can take the back off no problem. There is a little issue with the smaller piece that goes on the top of the phone. I also noticed that in the beginning there was a part of the plastic cover that when put to my ear I could feel the edge. I have had the skin for about 2 weeks now and notice it less. On the bright side however, when I do get smudges on the screen surface, a quick wipe and it's shiny and new again the only thing I am paranoid about is when I get in my car phone goes directly into the cup holder, i am worried about scratching the small part of my phone left uncovered... the camera "lens" lol.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

Chappy,

I am about to cancel my order that was place on the 7th for the same reason, same canned email response. This is my first and last experience with this company. I am going to cancel my order today, I have always used Boxwave in the past(for about 15 devices I have had over the years) and wanted to try something different.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

ok I just applied my boxwave crystal screen protector, im extremely happy with it, does much better with finger prints than the normal sprint screen protector, and it adds a nice sliding feel, plus I can barely tell its on this! overall its a very good screen protector!

I got an email tonight saying that they shipped mine out. I ordered on the 19th.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

do you guys want pics of the sprint diamond with the inivible shield? i have had mine on for a couple of weeks now. (i had the first shield, since i sent mine in to be the prototype)

i cant speak of how the installation was because they installed it for me, but so far, i love it. no scratches, no smudges. it was pretty grippy at first, but it gets a little smoother over time. it doesnt inhibit use of the phone at all. the ONLY downside is that when you have a completely white screen, it looks a little grainy. a minor issue that is definitely outweighed by the benefits.

Re: invinsibleshield for your usa (sprint/telus) touch diamond

My BSE does not give any grainy effect at all even on a white screen. I am quite impressed with it. I would have thought it would be the same exact material as the invisible shield but maybe not.
