Re: How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Scre

So how does second today work?

I'm thinking of going back to WM Today.

I got used to HTC Touch's HTC Today Plugin which didn't take over the whole screen. I disabled the Cube but kept the tabbed HTC Plugin. I liked the simple program launcher. The Clock was too big but it worked.

I want WeatherPanel and Multiple Appointments showing on my PDA PHONE !!!

Many apps don't work quite right with the WM Today Screen.

What can the TF3D Configure Tool do?

Re: How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Scre

for me, ill be using tf3d for a while. It gives me everything i need, contacts, all that stuff. and with the programs tab, i have everything else i couldnt get on tf3d. it really adds a much needed dimension to WM. the great part is, if i still need WM, its laying right under. Im pretty sure ill get bored sooner or later, and go back to wisbar and all that good sh*t, but for once, im content with my windows mobile device.

I like TF3D and will continue to use it. I have added SecondToday and have had no problems. I configured the left softkey on the Home tab to read 'Today' and it brings up SecondToday with my standard WM today screen where I currently have GPSToday and TodayAgenda. I have not had any problems yet with this setup.

I am also using Diamond TF3D Config tool and Diamond Tweak and have activated the TF3D performance enhancer and screen sensitivity adjuster and the performance so far has been great.

Now of course that I mentioned all of this I will start to have problems.

Now I only wish that Skyfire would support VGA.

I love everything about the TF3D.

I just wish I could get the calendar button under the clock to bring up Touchcal instead of the default calendar. Anyone know how to work this?

Tried SSMAPA but it doesn't work.

2 weeks now and I still use TF3D. This is my first smartphone, so I don't have any real experience with the Today screen on other devices.

Re: How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Scre

I'm still using TF3D. I appreciate not having to customize my PPC as much as I had to my mogul. I don't ever use other roms, as I'd rather just customize things myself.

I'd also like to have my own calendar (agenda one) & contacts show on the home screen. I also tried SSMAPA & it didn't work for me either.

I'm using mort buttons in the programs screen, & it's enabled me to organize my programs & get rid of some TF3D buttons. It's really clean. I'd just like to figure out how to change the main morton buttons.

I was using UL before, & the only things I miss from that are the ability to create shortcuts based on specific links, and the ability to set it to return to the home screen automatically.

Overall, I really like TF3d. I'm just tweaking it to my tastes.

I'm the same as you, I like to tweak without going to a custom ROM (mostly cause I figure I'd mess something up).

Can you please point me to Mortbuttons? I have mortscript loaded but would like to know more about this program. If I understand your post, I can use it to remove and or reorder the tabs??

You can get mortbuttons at the same place as mortscript. Then in the TF3D programs section, you can choose each button individually (there are 5). My buttons are Utilities/Settings, Games, Internet, Multimedia & Office/Nursing. http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?mo...ew&action=view He has a cab if you go to his website on your PPC. Another benefit of mortbuttons is you can add pretty much any program. There's a lot missing from the programs tab in TF. You're going to love MB.

Then I used the following 2 editor programs. One of them allowed me to eliminate some of the TF tabs I didn't need anymore.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=405749
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=418151

The 5 menu icons are buttons, & I haven't been able to change them. I'm going to try out this program for it. There's a bunch of cool stuff you can do. Just don't ask questions! Not a friendly group. Someone posted directions in one of the final pages. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=414861

Here's another site you'd be interested in: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398265 I'm sure some of the tweaks are related to the European version, because it's not an issue on our phones. Good stuff in there, tho.
