How many of you are still using TF3D? How many went back to the normal Today Screen?

i'm not trying to pick a fight, but.... if you think everyone bought the diamond for the fancy TF3d UI.... you're crazy. this device is so much more than some fancy main screen. i like having more than one calendar event showing, weather, and whatever todayscreen plugin i want to use, right there on the main screen so i dont have to go anywhere else to get it.

one of the things that bugs me is i actually have to open the whole message just to mark it read. it would have been nice if the preview thing would consider it read.

i upgraded for the memory, flush screen, size, ect. not necessarily the TF3d.

juggalo, i know you are helpful here and what not, but you're coment was out of line. just because a person goes with out tf3d doesn't mean they dont know whats up. it's just there preferance.

I agree with you. I have went back to my original today screen. For me it's easier to access the things I need. But I am having a problem with some of my today screen plugins not working with the diamond. Like td launcher. Maybe you can take a look at this for your thoughts. Thanks T M Z

i too went bsck for user friendlyness. any body figure how to launch tv? sprint told me to hard reset and upgrade would take effect, that didnt work. im using vogue cab and thats working ok, but cant launch from homescreen. any help?

it was just my opinion no hard feelings. but TF3D is very nice and i like it much better then the Wm interface it looks better on this nice vga screen :P just trying to bring some humor here, i voted if that means anything. im not having a good day i needed a laugh lol sorry

I actually already did it, the first night I had it I disabled TFLO, loaded a VGA beach theme and loaded WeatherPanel. I set up my Today Screen and DAYUM the VGA screen makes the Today screen and themes look AMAZING!!!! Im loving the VGA screen and will NEVER go back to a non VGA device.

I am now using TFLO but I wanted to make sure I could use the Today screen as I wanted.

I will probably switch back and forth as I please. For now Im using TFLO until I get tired of it then Ill go to today.

cool. i understand.

the whole reason i asked this question is because the TF3d does look way cool. the more i use it the more i like it. i have not switched to the normal wm todayscreen yet. i just got it yesterday. i just have been thinking about it.

things like weather panel and phone alarm i have missed. i think i may give that second today screen app a shot this weekend.

I've only had my Diamond Touch for a day, and will give TF3D another day or two, but anytime I have to do a gesture a second time or wait for something to load, my blood pressure goes up

I kinda think I should have played with the Sprint ROM longer, then I could appreciate the performance increase of Juicy's ROM. (I loaded Juicys ROM right after i got the phone)

I'm going to give it a couple more days, and maybe part of the problem is that I need to learn to do the gestures better.

I'm just happy with the screen resolution. I've had the HP hx4700 (VGA) for a couple years and have aways wanted my phone to have at "least" that resolution.

I have been looking at going to the original WM screen from day one. The limitations of TF3D was clear. I tried SecondToday but think that it might be better just to go straight back to WM.

Has anyone been looking at (or is) using the Touch HTC Home plug-in? I found several versions that claim to be VGA, but I have yet to find one where all the objects are displayed in the same relative size.

If you found one, please post/share.

I used PhoneAlarm years ago, and may use it as an option if I can't find an acceptable HTC Home.
