Both look excellent on the diamonds screen.
i'm not finding the logmein pocket pc install... do you have it?

After following the instructions from the previous page regarding the ipchicken and the open port checker then go to start/control panel/system/remote tab then in the Remote Desktop Section select the option for accepting Remote connections running any version of Remote Desktop. This is what fixed the issue for me.

Signup for a free account with LogMeIn from the system that you want to control remotely. Then install the software on that system and once you go to the LogMeIn web site from your Diamond, it will automatically prompt you to download what you need to remotely control your computer.

Re: Remote Desktop on Diamond

I don't know as I always disable audio through RDP when I set it up for my servers/workstations. If you don't have the ability to, and would like me to, I can check for you.

Remote Desktop on the Diamond's VGA screen is simply amazing!

I can take full control of my laptop running Windows Vista and transfer files between my phone and computer.

It normally comes with all WM6 devices but for some reason Sprint always takes it off their ROMs.

So here is the link for it...

Attachment 14156
Call me clueless, but I had no idea that there was a RDC client for WM. That's just damn snazzy.

Thanks, OP.

Re: Remote Desktop on Diamond

Your rom should have it in Programs. If not, let me know and I can get it to you.

Re: Remote Desktop on Diamond

Well do you want the good news or the bad news? lol...

On Windows Vista I do not see that it is an option for remote connections to have sound over the RDP connection...

On Windows Server 2003+ it is not an option...

And I don't have access to a Windows XP system in my office to check...

Sorry, at least know that I tried to give you good news
