Actually I have had Sprint for about 10 years now. When I first got it the wait times would range anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. I would put the phone on speaker and leave to do other things, come back and still be on hold. If anyone has had Sprint that long I know they know what I am talking about...The wait times now are nothing.

Anyway, my argument isn't with you so I am not going to go back at you.....Lets move on and enjoy the good things to come.

The 1 good thing to come out of this though, my next phone I will want will probably come out a year from now so I shouldn't have to deal with Sprint again until then.....Yippie!

cust service reps are dumb and sometimes you wonder how they get hired and yes it is fun to see them break down when a smart customer calls in and they are spechless to respond, but yellin at them over a warehouse issue is like yelling at a walmart cashier because they built the thing down the street from your house and it caused crime to rise and property values to go down. they had nothin to do with it and its out of of their control. sometimes we get emotional about our toys (imagine that shiny new flat screen that you just bought not work the day before superbowl) but we should direct our thoughts and actions toward upper level management and executive escalations, people that can actually do somethin about it, cuz regular ole employees cant do anything and actually dont give a sheet. like when i was workin at cvs and people would yell yall suck im takin my business to walgreens!!!!!! id have a pen ready to right down the directions. you wasnt hurtin me none and nothin got solved.

yeah back in the day everybodys wait times sucked. i remember havin compusa tech support on the phone, id go pick up someone from the airport, stop for a quick bite to eat and come back and 1 1/2 hours later and STILL be on hold!

Yeh, but at least the Walmart cashier can tell you the socks are in isle 4

I probably got a lot longer to wait. I ordered mine at like 4 in the afternoon. Does anyone if the 12 for shipping is the regular one or is it overnight?

i ordered sun at 11am and that was on tellasales,got processed monday in the am. tracking number early today and now phone is in route via land and left warehouse at 6:38 pm. sounds good. its nice to track it step by step. i actually am surprised it went so good.

Does anyone have any Kleenex for me? Order placed via web Sunday around 12:15am from CA. I am a new Sprint customer so I dont think the order really went in until Monday when they set up my account. btw what does this code mean? Product ID:JY82013770 Description:JY82013770-SEP 08 MIR Qty:1 Order Date:2008-09-14

I have a listing on the status page for the Diamond and this above line. Must have something to do with the new account. Anyone know?

And if they are out of stock on your favorite brand of socks, do you think that cashier could tell you when they will get a new shipment? I'm guessing that if their warehouse was in the same situation as the Sprint warehouse, the Highest manager at the store would not be able to tell you.

I want my phone as much as the next guy, but I'm not going to get all worked up like a spoiled brat and whine about my phone not showing up in 2 days considering what the people in the warehouse must be dealing with. I feel kind of lucky because me and my family are safe and dry and have power.

But, it is a free country and a mostly open forum, so feel free to keep entertaing us.
