I was asking about ordering a diamond today and the rep said since I got a touch within the last year I only qualified for a $75 rebate - which I certainly understand $150 is for a 2 year upgrade. What I didn't understand was the $100 mail in rebate wasn't available for people under 2 years - is that true? I don't really know what the mail in rebate is about - is it online anywhere for me to see the terms and conditions?

On the plus side I told them BEFORE I order a new phone and sign up for a new contract they would have to see what they could do for me since my contract has expired. She conferenced in account services or whatever they call retentions these days and I'm getting 200 bonus minutes each month

Yes, to get your $100 mail in rebate you will need to do the 2 year contract.

Your best bet is to ask them to give you the rebate instantly, I doubt you'll have much luck getting the diamond for 250 with a one year agreement.

I have a conformation number and an email saying the order completed, I don't know what this means? Anyone else get this message?

Can anyone recommend the cheapest route to get upgraded and who best to call?

Don't want to risk mucking up my SERO plan either.

Just return it and say you did not like it and want a full refund and have your old 6700 activated again. they do that. Then wait the extra 3 days for the pro.
