Re: Question for people who ordered their Diamond from Sprint

Yeah, I got my Touch in January, and I cashed in my upgrade so I didnt qualify. I called telesales earlier today and they transferred me to customer services or retention, and I explained that I had been a customer for 7 years and I would hope that my loyalty meant something to Sprint. He asked me "Would you be unsatisfied enough that you might consider cancelling your service?" which was kind of a leading question and made me laugh and I said "Yeah! This WOULD be the type of situation that would make me consider cancelling" lol

So I ended up with a $200 instant rebate and a $100 MIR and the phone is on the way!

Sprint did good today!

I got an email from telesales last night detailing my Diamond order. When I went to check my order it said the following,Status:Your order requires some validations in order to complete processing. To expedite processing, please call 866-860-6301 between 8:00 a.m. EST to 11:00 p.m. EST Monday to Friday, and 9:00 a.m. EST to 8:00 p.m. EST on Saturdays.

They didn't say why it was being held up, just that I had to call to verify some things.

Just an FYI for those who ordered their Diamond this weekend.

Can't wait to ditch my Blackberry 7100i.

I also got that same message and when I called to expedite as it states they couldn't do anything.

LOL! Go to Sprint's site, and use the site feature to compare the Touch and the Diamond. In the form, under the "Slim and fashionable" row, the Touch is listed as "yes" and Diamond "no".

I got a similar message, but it turned out to be due to a problem transferring my phone number from my old carrier. Called in at 8:00 this morning and now it says "Your order is awaiting processing at the warehouse." The date on the order is still 9/14, so it doesn't look like that problem pushed my order to the back of the line.

I ordered through telesales and two different people said they can't overnight it. What's up with that. They actually said that if they overnight it will take longer to get here.
