I've had SERO for about 15 months, and they gave me the full 200 discount without having to change my plan. My only concern is the 100 MIR, but there's now a special rebate for Sprint Everything Plus Exclusive plans on the rebate site. Does anyone else with SERO think we might be able to use this instead of the regular MIR form?

Question?

To anyone that has gotten rebates from sprint. According to the rebate stipulations, I DO NOT qualify for the MIR. ( I have an old share plan, 2 lines, 550 ATM with free vision data on both, 300 texts on primary line). So technically i do not have a "talk/mssg/data" share plan. However, the telesales rep repeatedly said i would be getting the MIR. I even asked him to put it in the notations, he said no problem.

I paid 374.99 (MD taxes) total before the 100 MIR. Question is will i get the rebate based on the rep saying I will or will the "rebate dept" see that i do not qualify.
Anyone care to offer an educated guess?

I did the exact same thing! I wanted something "in writing" so to speak, so had them note it. I also did a Sprint chat and saved the whole conversation and chat ID for proof too. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

When we renewed our contract last month, my wife upgraded to the Centro. But I wanted to make sure we'd get the full discount and keep our existing 700min fair and flexible plan (w/ unlimited Vision and grandfathered unlimited SMS from back in the day), since the closest plan in their existing list is twice as much money for 1500 min that we won't use. After talking to the rep about it, he approved the contract renewal of our existing plan with the full discount.

Anyway, I sent in the rebate for my wife's phone even though we renewed what is currently a non-existent plan, and when I checked it this morning it's been approved and should be mailing out soon.

I was successful in getting a Diamond today; $200 NO REBATES, I can keep my existing plan and it is supposed to be here in 2-4 days! I asked her to put this all in the notes in case there is a snafu with my plan later!

How were you able to get it for 200.00 dollars? I got it charged to my account and it was 390, with a 100 dollar credit for renewing my contract. I consider that the mail in rebate since I'm going to do a esn swap when I get it to my line.

I called to cancel my service and was 'asking' questions portability, etc.... told her that I could get into the iPhone for $200 and didn't have to mess with rebates, etc. I was very casual about asking the questions, told her I was looking to switch this week. The rest was easy

I did have to do a new 2 year contract, but that's ok by me. And I asked her to document that I keep my existing plan which includes the nav package. I think I got a pretty decent deal.
