JUST got off the phone wth telesales... they said to call back at midnight to see if it updates in the system for sale... they are open til 130... gunna try, i'll let you guys know in a lil while

Ok guys, this is how to order your Diamond now. Call customer service and request that they check to see if the phone is available.( you will be out of the country or otherwise pre-occupied Sunday and dont want to get back ordered) Have them conference call telesales to order the phone. It is avalable now for PRE-ORDER. I have a confirmation #. Tommorrow I will call UPS and recieve the shipping number. Should have it tuesday or at the most Wednesday. The CSM was very helpful. While "translating" with telesales, she had the priority shipping and handset upgrade fee waived. Also made sure their was no back orders and I will get one. Just my experience.

Be careful, the rep could have been wrong. I checked today for the price list and the Diamond wasn't on it. The properties said it was updated yesterday, so the telesales rep might have had an old one.

chappy what about something I read on sprintusers.com that those who have put their emial in to be 'notified' when its available will be receiving a special invitiation certificate to pick up the phone in a store tomorrow... is that bunk??

reason I ask is my store guy said last week he'd have a handset for me on Sunday.. then I called on Friday to make sure and he said to call back after their delivery in the afternoon and if they came in he'd put my name on it.. I called later and they said oh they only got cases..... weird.. so helpful last week and this week all mum.. so is there a secret release?

Damn i just tried calling and pulling that "im going to be out of the country/traveling tomorrow" deal and there was no luck there. looks like it will be a late night tonight

if i buy this phone with a 2year contract i wont be able to sell the phone until im off of contract in TWO YEARS??!!

you could sell the phone 2 days from now and it doesn't make a difference. The 2 year contract just locks you into sprint service for that period of time, not the phone that you upgrade with.
