Its Official Sept. 14th Release of the Diamond on Sprint!

The in store date for the Diamond has been pushed back to 10/12.

So either they are launching the Diamond and Pro a week apart, or the Pro is going to be pushed back.

edit: kelly's right, I didn't see this date already posted, but I can confirm. He/she was also right about the diamond supposed to be brought into inventory. The other advocate phones werent though.

Why would AT&T go with the Touch HD when they have the iPhone?

Same reason they carry the TILT, Blackberry and PALM devices.

Anyways, this is not an iphone wm comparison or flame post. But just some facts, the iphone is what it is and does what it does (it's just a phone), but what it cant do is why people need and use and would consider a Touch HD or any PDA really. There are applications certain people and businesses use that only run on WM devices. Like there are some inventory and delivery apps that only run on Palm OS. Totally different markets, customers.

Was thinking there might also be those business types that need to sync to their email systems using Outlook and a MS Exchange Server, VPN, etc..

Lots of reasons I would assume.

If you can find a indirect dealer in your area you can order today. I just ordered one for a good customer of mine.

When you go in they can place the order via VAD. Ask them, you won't be disappointed.
