I litterally just hung up the phone and after all of that I talked to an Indian named Ethan Allen that was pretty understanding and here is what he said.

I can t give you a direct date BUT I will be calling you on Thurssday to place your order, If for some reason I cant call you in Thursday the28th, then YOU WILL FOR SURE HAVE A CALL BY THE 2nd of September.

Take for what you will....ITS A PHONE AND I AM ABOUT OVER IT! I want it very bad but this is just getting out of control.

Was doing some googling, dont know if this info was already posted, has some good info on specs, cant wait for the Touch Pro...wait I mean Herman

Said it twice now official Sprint release info handed to us in customer care show's diamond is not set for sept 2nd at all will probably come mid month would be my guess though.

Well ive read another report that states that both CPU's are the same but Verizon will be downclocking theirs, so i think using the kitchens wont be a big deal.... maybe if anything we can unlock Sprint Diamond speeds? I think theyre doing this to save battery life, Verizon looked at the Diamond and said if we reduce its mhz by a multiplier or two how much power do we save? And they thought it would be better to do that.

I have heard that alltel will be releaseing the diamond, and it will be the same has sprint version, but they will not be releasing the touch pro. Alltel phone line up they will release the treo 800, the touch dual, and the diamond. Hope this helps some.
