This thread has been posted twice but its ok, the mail in rebate is for new customers and customers who qualify for their 2 year upgrade, actually 1 year and 10 month upgrade. so if you've had your current phone for 1 year and 10 months you'll be eligible for upgrade.

Engadget was just leaked a new documents that might indicate the Sept 2 release. However, having read over and over of delays and such, take this as a grain of salt.

I noticed you mentioned being upset about the Verizon HTC Diamond having slightly "weakened" features in comparison to the specualted Sprint version.

You will notice that the Verizon's HTC Raphael version is also slightly "weakened" than what Sprint will be offering as well.

Personally I was thinking about how it will affect the Kitchen, when it includes the "Diamond" and "Raphael".. Even though the phones will have the same retail names, they will actually be different units..

So I am guessing it will include a Verizon variation and a Telus/Sprint based ROMs.

Wonder what Bell and Alltel will be releasing.

Unless they aren't telling us agents about it the release schedule shows no pda type phones for sprint on the 2nd
