Stopped by local Sprint store today. Got the usual don't know can't tell stuff with the first rep I spoke with, then another rep stopped by and said that the release had dropped back for sure, training has not occurred, no explanation for this, Sept 2nd is not happening and we are looking at mid to late Sept at best.

hey guys and lovely girls out their in ppcgeekland i know i dont really do to much posting but i am here to tell you some really interesting news........i am here to tell you that the touch diamond will be released on tuesday sept 2
the reason i kno this is my company( i cant name who for ovious reasons ) is connected to sprint telesales and we were asked to update systems ...and i was told by the same person i got my mogul from 3 years ago it will be out ...... anyway good luck to all getting the diamond on Tuesday and keep on geeking:mrgre en:

This is a question to anyone that can answer. What are the odds that sprint will release the phone on September 2nd, but only through telesales and business customers? And this will be followed with a full launch in mid-September??

Look I am not here to discredit you at all but according to your own post you got the mogul in Febuary of this year. Did you mean Treo? Did you actuall update the system and see the diamond in telesales system?
