I don't see the pre getting a bigger screen on the V network. We will most likely see a 16gb version on both Sprint and Verizon. I think that was the P121 that showed up in Sprint's inventory system. Let's hope for a 32 gb.

Hold out till Nov end my friend, I suspect you may not be disappointed. I'm itching to get the Hero too, but there's no way I'll settle for it if the D2 is around the corner, and all signs lead to the promise of a D2 before year end.

What, pray tell, are the 'signs' you speak of? I for one would definately wait if there was even a hint that it will be out Q4. As I do not consider myself the average 'look a pretty shiney thing' consumer, I can't see how a leak would hurt the sales of the Hero. Lets face it, a person that is an IPhone fan would be more inclined to purchase the Pre or Hero before the WM TF3D phones.

Sooo, why not a leak. Sprint Reps out there are aplenty, 'In The Know' Sprint Reps are scarce. Even with those few 'In The Know' folks out there, one of them would have leaked it by now.

Perhaps the operating system vendors are nicer (read, more profitable) for the Pre and Hero than Microsoft. There are fiscal reasons for the hush hush, if that is the case.

Although I am impressed by the silence from the Verizon side of the fence in sneaking the TD2 out.

thx for the info. I'm gonna wait for VZW to launch it (assuming it's the same phone) so I can check it out while waiting. I keep going back & forth between waiting & the TP2. I bought my wife the TP2, it's nice but I just wasnt wow'd. It's really not much thicker than my Diamond, and to me, doesnt weigh much more.

I'll give it alittle more time & see what happens.

on sprint. I heard someone has the pre running on verizon confirm or deny anyone.

I believe you can get sprint phones to work on verizon but not the other way around.

The Imagio (new diamond 2 for cdma?) is 5.25oz, thats over 1oz less than the touch pro 2 at 6.3oz. It will also have a 1500 LiIon battery, so talk time should be as good or better than the pro 2.

The original touch (vogue) was 3.95oz, so this will be 1oz heavier than those that are using the original touch.

This is good news for those of us on Sprint and not wanting to buy the Touch pro 2 due to size weight.

Hints... your right... I had a high up rep tell me that it would be out late Q3... and still no leaks other than that... It's fustraiting...
