Thank u both for replying so quickly
yea the first time i heard the noise, it was quiet loud and sounded like the inside was burning/melting..lol but yea no noise anymore but I do have one prob. When i get incoming calls, it doesn't display the "Incoming call" screen, there's basically nothing except the phone vibrating, but if i press the bottom left of the screen (where there would b the "answer" key) even w/o it showing up i can answer the call and if i press the bottom right of the screen (where there would b the "ignore" key) even w/o it showing up i can ignore the call. Now i was reading on this post and u did say to try the slider_square (not sure if that's the correct file name) I did download it and replace the slider file w/ the square file, but that put the slider bar in the middle of the screen instead of the bottom. I can't remember if that solved the problem of "incoming call" screen not showing up but the slider being right in the middle of the screen, i didn't like. Was it just me that ended up having the slider in the middle? is there fix for the "incoming call" screen not show up? Final thing, is there any way i can get rid of the seconds in the time? I just want it to show the hr and the minutes... for some reason i get the feeling that since the seconds keep changing that's y the incoming call screen isn't showing up... i could b waaay of on that since i'm not expert like u guys, just an average-joe's guess. lol

The square version is for the treo phones only.. won't help with the incoming call issue. It was designed for 240x240 screens, that is why the slider is closer to the middle.

To get rid of the seconds in the time, go to the slide.ini file located with the slide.exe. remove the ss portion from the time in the slide.ini and that will remove the seconds. (slide.ini can be opened on your ppc with notes and saved.)

Still working on the incoming call issue.

Another Speedy Reply, Thank you

When i read the file name and saw that it had "square" in it, i figured it might be for 240x240 screens, but i just had to try it to make sure i wasn't doing anything wrong..lol. Yea i did the change u mentioned, regarding the seconds, and it works flawless. However, I couldn't get it to open in PPC, so i edited the file on my PC and then copied it into PPC via ActiveSync.

Hope u get the incoming call issue fixed, i've been seeing a lot of ur posts aroudn regarding this and i know u've put in a lot of work on it... my hats off to u.

hey, i have one other q'stion... is there anyway i can get rid of the # showing up on the lock screen? I like the fact it shows the person that called, while the screen is locked, but is there a way to have it not show the # and just the name of the person that called?

Currently you can only show / hide both the name and number.

It may be feasible to separate the two in newer versions.

hey fellers / felleretts,

I finally got the wallpaper to rotate while the app is running.
(thanks to help from PointofLight, A_C and 6700yuma.)

If anyone is interested, post me some good wallpapers for

dawn
sunrise
noon
afternoon
sunset
night

I'll add the best ones to this next release. Also, if there are any other changes recommended, get 'em in now for beta2.

I'm gonna tweak with the cpu usage on a beta3 which i hope helps with the caller id issues.

looks good. only gripes are that it doesnt show business names if no first/last name is present, and that you cant choose first/last name order.
