Here is a slightly toned down tach. It's a little bit easier on the eyes when reading your text info.

hmm.. i can't get it to show correctly here.. but if you click on the pic it looks correct.

Hey 6700yuma.. I found 1 way to deal with the Text Messages (0) problem.

If you look at the code and find:

g_drawtextex(font1$, CountText$ , 22, 133, 240, 320, true);

(mine will be slightly different depending on the placement and label$)

Change it to this:

g_drawtextex(font1$, CountText$ - "Text Messages (0)", 22, 133, 240, 320, true);

If you have 0 sms it all disappears. If you have 1+ it appears as Text Messages (1) or whatever.

crazy huh?

Here is the current screen shot. Notice if the subject of the meeting runs into 2 lines, the second line of the appointment draws over the Location.

I have been playing around with this software but for some reason every time i try to run it, it doesn't launch, just crashes with the microsoft error reporting screen. Is this a device specific issue? I am using the treo 700w. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It's made for a 240x320 screen, so your problem is likely due to the 700w's 240x240 screen.

Ahh, this is disappointing but not totally unexpected.
Thanks for the quick response.

Hello all,

Great work on these applications!

One issue I am having is that there seems to be a memory leak with launcher.exe

After running it over night, my TMO MDA had a low memory warning on the screen.

Is there a fix for this issue?

Thanks, Scott K.

I have incorporated some more of Andason's code into version 1.4. I've also included the tach as wallpaper2.bmp. I set the Appointments area to only show if you have an upcoming appointment, and it will only show the next appointment. I also used Andason's code to make the Text Messages (0) disappear until you have a Text Message. Find it at:

I noticed that it appears the code requesting info from the registry doesn't live update (except for the operator code) but updates only upon restart of the application. Is there a timer missing here to keep checking periodically?

Also, I wonder if is possible to use a .ini file so individual users can tweak their display?

(some may want it all, others just sms and so on...)

Any suggestions? Do you experience the same on the lack of live updating?
