I think that having the option for text, icons, or nothing at all would be the most flexible.

Personally, I prefer just the date/time and the slidelock on the screen so nothing covers up the background.

...also, one minor note... For us VZW folks, the banner at the top of the screen runs into the lock icon (see pic)

I can probably resize them, but a max of about 30x30 pixels would be a good start.

is there a new version of the i-phone launcher out there? IF so, where do you find it?

How do u find the pathway for a file like "settings?" In the version of the i-phone launcher i have i need the pathway so i can "hook up/point to the settings.exe"

Firstly, a big thanks to Andason & Yuma for this awsome program. I was using another slider but this one is much better.


my question is....I turn off the sms/text & last caller info, but it's still showing up.....what am I missing? Here is my config

I'll see if I can adjust that in the cycletext mode. I currently have another version I'm playing with which allows you to show or hide the phone number of last caller, plus it includes notification of voicemail and missed calls not viewed.

I got some icons installed and i've been testing the program. I recently lost the radio (telephone) function of my ppc6700 so I'll probably post the program here soon and let yaw finish testing for me.

New Release 6/11/07

The following changes were made:

1. Allowed the user the ability to show either the last caller name (1) or the last caller name and number (2) (slide.ini setting for last caller)
2. Added the ability to pause the cycling text (entire program) by pressing the left or right hardware buttons. The program will unpause by touching the screen or pressing the button a second time.
3. Added code which will prevent any registry look up from showing during the cycletext mode if NA. Example, no email no cycling of the unread email view. no text message, no cycling of the unread text message view.. etc.. Text message (0) should no longer show up on the cycletext mode as well.
4. remove the text batt-sav at bottom left of screen. but function is still there. slide the arrow all the way to the left and it will eventually suspend the entire program until you touch the screen again.
5. added missed call, voicemail, email / sms icons. If all registry calls are off the icons should still show.
6. recoded the timeshifting wallpaper to be more cpu / battery friendly, i still need to improve the wallpaper though.. some slightly overlap each other. you will see what i mean between 6pm and 10pm.
7. Allowed the user the ability to adjust the font sizes in the slide.ini

started a new numbering system for the application. sorry about the confusion with beta, alphabeta, omegabeta and such : ). I'll try to improve here.

please test and give some feedback.

like i mentioned before, my poor ppc6700 has bit the dirt (radio function) and i can't properly test the icon notifications. so i'm relying on feedback.

I noticed that the icons would not work in the original "noncycletext" mode.

So i corrected that in version 2.01 : ) is that kewl??

Please make sure the icons are working.. i'm getting weird results from my phone : )
