BigJ's Revision 9.6 (Mario!) ROM updated: 4/24/07

with the other roms i installed the Mupgrade program went right to the upgrade screen. with this rom, its stuck in the please wait screen. i tried 3 times and waited 60 minutes each. it never gets to the upgrade screen. anyone else having this issue?

I cant use any thing but the Mario upgrade, can any one use the other one I always get 'error 120: Country id error"

This is by far the best aku/rom setup I think that has come out. Now if you could only add mario to the game folder. Mabye poket Nester with the rom.

Colud it get any better.

use that one to flash and you wont get the ID error,

Im not sure what is stopping the default them from going back to "bow-mario" ill create a whole new TSK file and pack that into revision 9.4 called bowmario, so you guys can get back to it if you change your theme.

If I go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Arcsoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader I do not see a X-Vzw-MDN key there, must I create it? I did run the vzMMS-registry cable file on the phone and soft reset it.

Do I just add it?

oh Sh*t haha, im pretty sure with the cab file doing all the registry for you, you no longer need that step....

can a verizon user please verify MMS working WITHOUT inputing that key?

Found an interesting situation in which the ring tone went silent on two 6700's not long after this ROM was installed.

I went to the ringtone setup and seen it was assigned the mario ring.
I changed it to something else and then immediately back. Then hit the play or sample button and heard it just fine.

I then called it and heard it ring just fine.

There was some additional program changes that could have impacted my specific situation, but figured if anyone else experiences loss of ring sound then they can see if this works for them.

I love this ringtone btw....and I usually hate ringtones.
But this one is fun...
Makes me feel old, thinking how long ago I played this game..although reminds me of many good times.

I must be missing something... I'm on verizon, I used the latest 9.3 VZW install from BigJ.... never installed any other cab and i have no issues with the text messaging or mms. Is it because I let the VZW customization take place after install that I don't need the extra cab?
I know some ppl don;t let the customization take place after the ROM flash, so doe this mean I'm corrupting BigJ's install by allowing mine to run?



... oh and BTW... thanks BigJ... now my wife forbids the phone in the bed at night... apparently I'm playing too many games!

Can I use Extended Rom 2 area for installing programs ? Will it be faster than putting on min-SD card ?
