Thanks!
If you install this ROM on an Alltel phone, you need to make sure that you have access to the necessary cab files that belong in the Extended ROM. Currently the version available only have the carrier customizations for Sprint and Verizon.

For the list of necessary cabs, check the sticky colonel started.

yes it does. download the verizon one and just allow your phones customizations to run.

the 1.2u rom I put out is labeled generic to make it easier to understand

Well, now that I just found a way to get GmobileSync to work again on ROM9.6 I'm not touching anything else... No way, tired of bleeding on the edge. Maybe I'll consider it when the URP releases 2.0 but that will likely be a fading memory in a couple months. Nothing short of a release that will make the phone hover 3" when I drop it will make me think otherwise.

btw- I've got no idea what made the calendar decide to start syncing correctly, but after using the "DeleteAll" feature in GmobileSync it appears that the next sync worked without issue.

-Phone will not vibrate once you install this ROM....

actually just a registry edit that re-enables the LED's fixes the vibrate function

Quote:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\DRIVERS\BUILTIN\ALLLEDMGR]
"Index"=dword:0

Should change that to a ONE .... 1
As for your LED not going off just turn off the phone wait 5 seconds and turn it back on. .

Glad you like it Jbabey has done great work and 9.6 is just going beyond great works.

Take Care,

Andrew,

Does rev 9.6 come with version 1.2u unified ROM or is that a whole different beast? Would I install the 1.2u OVER my rev 9.5 install in that case?

Was this issue ever resolved?
it was resolved in the unified ROM ... read the notes on the 1.2u
I would recomend installing that one
