Also on the phone app, when you dial a number the color of the font is close to its background so you cant see what you are dialing...
Check six or seven posts up. You can change the registry entries to whatever you want.
Oops, I should have read more...so I got the calendar softbutton back but what is the .exe file for contacts? Is it "poutlook.exe contacts"?

I just installed a 3.5 rom based on your
3.5_NoJunk_Kitchen.zip file, stripping out total commander (I use Resco file management programs), as well as the Live search, and a few other things.

Is there compelling reason to update?

Also, do you have some form of patch to update a stock unified rom kitchen to your CaS-GA rom?

Finally a more general question:
Is there a unrecommended program for backing up and restoring user-land programs/data when updating between roms? It would obviously need to back up some parts of the registry, but on the other hand, it would be bad to back up and restore the entire registry as that would kill many of the changes found in the rom. For that reason my normal backup choice of SPB backup seems less than perfect.

It can take me a few hours to set everything back up the way I like it after a hard reset (which includes rom upgrades), so some sort of rom-upgrade safe backup tool would be quite nice.

How to get the old soft keys

For anyone trying to change back to the original soft keys after loading C&S AKU3.5 for any Apache:

Registry keys for Today softbuttons:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 2]
"Open"="calendar.exe"
"Default"="Calendar"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\11 3]
"Default"= Empty (no value set)
"Open"= Delete this entry

I just installed this and noticed a few different things than the original Kirvin rom.. There is no MMS folder, but the MMS Configuration is there.. The New Outgoing Port for Bluetooth is no longer there either...

Also, when I remove something from the today screen by unchecking it, it wont remove unless I reset the phone..

Thanks - but that's the full (bloatware) version. Since I don't often need to convert Croatian Kunas to South African Rands (or, for that matter, vice versa ), I'd like to use the lite version and save a little space.

Anybody have a working link to 1-calc lite?

Anyone else having problems turning on their bluetooth? I get the spinning color wheel and it doesnt enable.. if I reset my phone, its on when it resets.. then I can turn it off/on but after like a day it goes back to not wanting to turn on until I reset it..

I have the Sprint Apache, but I used this ROM.. I had the sprint 3.5 rom Jeff did and the bluetooth worked fine.. I may go back to using that one.
