OMG, Jeff! I just installed the "Clean & Simple" ROM, and I have a *big* problem!

How do I change the two soft keys on the main screen back to "Calendar" and "Contacts"? For those of us with limited (pay as you go) web service, the "Web" key can be an incredibly expensive problem. Besides, there's a button on the side that brings up Internet Explorer that I can disable/enable as required.

The "Running Programs" is something I rarely use as well, where I use my XV6700 as a planner on a daily basis. My normal operation is to use the two soft keys, and remove the Contacts/Calendar from the Today menu for space for other less-used programs.

How can I fix these?

I installed the new Clean and simple ROM and it works great!

However, I noticed that in the phone app, a dialed number appears gray on a gray background and is almost impossible to see.

Can this be fixed with a registry tweak?

ive had this rom up for acouple of weeks
everything is good

but i just recently tried to extract .zip and .cab files and it says it cant open ...and soemthing bout a trust certificate
i would install them thru active sync .... but i think i burn out my port

also is there away 2 dl attachments with out havin to buy a program?
i use 2 use msn 2 do so . and i dont use it enuf to actually buy something ... any alternatives?

Ok I installed the clean and simple version, and its pretty nice, but one thing that is bugging me so far is the two buttons on teh bottom, its now for "web" and "running" how do I change them back to what it was before (calendar and contacts)?

Also on the phone app, when you dial a number the color of the font is close to its background so you cant see what you are dialing...

Check six or seven posts up. You can change the registry entries to whatever you want.
