I just installed a 3.5 rom based on your
3.5_NoJunk_Kitchen.zip file, stripping out total commander (I use Resco file management programs), as well as the Live search, and a few other things.

Is there compelling reason to update?

Also, do you have some form of patch to update a stock unified rom kitchen to your CaS-GA rom?

Finally a more general question:
Is there a unrecommended program for backing up and restoring user-land programs/data when updating between roms? It would obviously need to back up some parts of the registry, but on the other hand, it would be bad to back up and restore the entire registry as that would kill many of the changes found in the rom. For that reason my normal backup choice of SPB backup seems less than perfect.

It can take me a few hours to set everything back up the way I like it after a hard reset (which includes rom upgrades), so some sort of rom-upgrade safe backup tool would be quite nice.
